how do I use bit torrent?

everything I download is in some format that I cant open?

You need to install a bit torrent clinet on your computer. Try BitComet, as this one is fairly simple to understand

You then download the torrent link and open it in Bit Comet.

You need a software client to find and transfer the files you get from Bittorrent. I use one called Burst.

do a web search for bit torrent web site there you will find they have a tutorial on how to use it
