As long as your video card has at least an RCA video output, you will be able to connect it to any TV with an RCA INPUT. Just be careful if your TV is an older one, and your display resolution and refresh rates are set to high, you could damage your set.
Good Luck!

you would first need compatible hardware
most video cards (on the computer) output in VGA or some digital form
most TVs take anything from Coaxial to RCA to various HD connections
your best shot would probably be to get a video card with digital outputs (HD is most common), since they're the most universally accepted on newer TVs

first, your television needs to be some what new, it needs whats called a dvi port. and your video card on your computer needs this too. then you need a cable to connect them, you may need special software on your computer to make the signal compatible for your tv
if your tv does not have a dvi port, you need a converter, i don't know where to get one but i wouldn't bother if your tv is that old

If you mean using a TV screen as your computer moniter basicly you plug what would usually go into the monitor into a spot that it fits in on the TV.
