when i install limewire to my computer and try to put an artist name in nothing comes up as far as songs what happen ?

I have Windows XP and use Outlook Express. Every now & then I would like to insert a photo into my email, from My Pictures or from some other source. But whenever I insert a picture, it is also sent as an attachment. Is there some way I can insert the picture without also making it an attachment?

What do you think I can get for a desktop computer. Pentium 3, 733mhz. 512mb ram, 30gb hard drive, dvd burner, floppy drive, 4 usb 2.0 ports, and windows XP home edition.

Also, what do you think I could get for it if I also was selling a 17" samsung crt monitor with it?

Now I have no sound and my resolution is horrible.?
I've gone to the website to install a new driver, but the one I installed doesn't work and I'm thinking about throwing the computer out the window!! Haha Can you tell me what a sound card and a video card are?? Is this something that came w/ my computer. (I had no problem w/ sound or video before the recovery). Also, what are the drivers?? I know this sounds weird, but which comes first?! Which should have been installed w/ my recovery? Mute is not selected, the speakers have power and the computer is a Gateway 838GM. Thank you!!

I found out what my IP address is and wrote it down on a piece of paper. Then somebody used my computer to log in a certain network where they stored IP address of each user's computer. But when I logged in to the network to see the log, I didn't see my IP address there. How is that possible?

I cant do it in IE 7. Im using Windows Vista...
I get the error about the digital signature stuff.. "unknown publisher"
I get this from the official macromedia-adobe website.

i tried enabling "download unsigned activex controls" in the security tab under internet options, but that does not help.

Any ideas?

Besides changing any components of pc itself, what else can I do to improve speed of loading pages when surfing?

It takes up to a full minute or more to load one page. Excruciatingly painful to wait. It has not done that in the past before I...

1. I installed a router.
2. Used clearwire isp


i have taken steps by:

1. defragmenting my hard drive--didn't help (even when completely done)



What are the possible causes of why so slow?

I
ve got more than enough hard drive space, etc (120 GB, 1024 MB system memory, 1.60 Hz Intel Core Duo processor, etc, etc...)


I wash my window at least every other day, do spyware and cookies sweep every day (even twice a day), virus scan every day...


Anything else to try, short of replacing or adding any components onto my laptop pc?

if you sell something to someone how do you know will get your money? if you send the item but don't get your money what will ebay do? if you buy something off someone but get a different product than the one that was advertised what happens then? would you get reimbursed? could you call the police if you get ripped off and would they do something?

i also heard if you cheat someone you can get banned from ebay or get a lower score or something, but do people actually care? i mean you could just recreate another account couldnt you?
