An IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) is essentially your Computer's Address. It is composed of a set numbers, depending on your Internet Provider, and you can't connect to the internet without this address. Many people can find information about you through your IP Address, and each system can have its own address.

An I.P address (short for Internet Protocol address) is an address that each computer is given in the internet, and any other home network. (Think of it- there are probably millions of computers connected to the internet and each time you do something like going to a website, you are contacting one single computer) Even your computer, which is connected to the internet, is assigned an I.P. adress by your internet service provider.

Your IP Address is like your internet social security number, except it can be seen by everyone you connect to and changes every time you disconnect from the Internet(In some cases it stays the same).

It's your internet ID number, looks something like (xxx.xx.xx.xxx)

It's a unique address for your computer on the network. Other computers can find you (and know that it's you).

It is the address that your Internet Provider provides or assigns you. If someone else get's their hands on it, they can probably hack your computer.
