Dont mess with it if its workin! If you see problems, make sure all the cards are seated properly.Smack your brothers upside the gourd and hope and prey your hard drive isnt damaged!

well the fact that its an emachine - should make you nervous as hell (arguably the biggest pieces of crap ever made) - but if it works - it should be OK for awhile

if it was the tower that took a hit then unless something was jarred loose (a wire or connection cable) there really isnt anything that would "break" except for a hard drive platter going bad - but you'd hear it.

check and make sure your optical drives are OK, a hard knock can rattle a laser loose and making offset can keep it from reading correctly.

But if you dont already, you should back-up everything important now. Because as sure as the sun rises in the east - an e-machine will break down, seriously --- never buy anything where the name of the company has an "e" for economy in it

economy = piece of crap for people that cant afford quality

you dont want to be one of them do you ?? didnt think so

It should be fine unless it got thrown across the room. I wouldn't mess with it. If you do start to have trouble take it to someone that know about computers.

you could use a program like chkdsk to see if there are any bad sectors on your hard drive. other than that make sure that your cd-rom and floppy drives are working correctly

if everything seems to be working, just let it be.. Don't try to fix anything.. but if you notice problems later on then I would take it in, but I doubt it will have anything to do with the "fall"... as long as the cords are plugged in where they should be everything will be fine..
