I don't know how to uninstall my Internet Explorer browser cos someone says it is corrupted as whenever i try to download a file or game, it pops up a microsoft error windows asking me to close down the IE browser. And my com is windows 98. Can anyone pls help me ? Thanks.. :) I will choose the best answer.

you see im trying to get this folder on my comp for download the only problem i cant it only opens and let me select one file. SO i want to use WinRAR to compress it into a unzipped file and put thgat up for download. But i dont know how so you think someone can tell me? thanks in advance

Whenever i try downloading a file or game from any website, a microsoft windows error pop up saying there is a error and two options are given. Send error and Dont send.. And the explorer will restart and the download will not be completed. What should i do because i have also lost the disk for reformatting. Does anyone out there know how to solve this ?? Thanks.. :)

Hello. I am about to install Linux. I have the iso. file downloaded but I am not sure where to go from there. I know that I have to burn it to a disk but when I restarted my computer and pressed F12 to bring up the "one time bootup method" option thing and chose "Boot from cd" after I thought that I had burned it to a cd the right way the computer didn't detect that it was a bootable cd. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

That's the only reason I can come up with that my bf (that I live with) would suddenly become obnoxiously grumpy....my ex boyfriend that I lived with for 5 years (and it was over with by 3 years before I started even dating my current bf) called tonight to mainly talk to my daughter (whom he has always maintained a close relationship with) and then me. He was talking about how he still loved me but I didn't actually encourage this but more or less tried to tell him not to stir up trouble in my life.

Here's the story... I have updated McAfee virus protection and about fifteen minuted it said I was infected with the "PUP" virus twice. When I went to clean up the virus it could not be cleaned. When I just scanned my computer about ten minutes ago, it said my computer was fine. HELP!!!!

I decided to take our old computer out of the attic today just to give me something to do. It had Windows 95 on it. I decided to try and reinstall it because I wanted to start it completely over so I could experiment with it. If only I knew what I was doing before I did it. For some reason, it will not start now. It says that a bunch of different files are missing and windows will not start. Is there a way that I can completely wipe out the computer so that I can reinstall windows 95 off of the disc? How about from the dos commands? Can I do anything important there? How can I get it to reinstall from the disc if I can't get it to start up at all? Mainly, I just want to start over or fix the problem. So what should I do? Any help would be appreciated.

the funny voice with my visa card. i cannot get the voice i ordered,. the only voices are the ones that came with the tom tom. what did i do wrong? can someone please walk me thru the steps so i can correct whatever i didnt do right? tom tom company verified they got paid. please, your input would be so much appreciated since i dont know much at all about computers.

Okay heres the deal....The cd-rom doesn't work. it just will not read the discs and when i try to do it manual still nothing. when i go to my computer and click on the icon for cd-ron i get a box that pops up saying "D:" "is not accesible" and "this devices not ready". Okay then i go to my control panel and click system properties. when i click on the cd-rom from there it brings up a box, when i click general tab it says this device is working properly. when i click the settings tab it has three things checked. options disconn.,auto insert, and DMA. so i'm confused one thing is saying that its working properly andthe says its not accessible....wtf!!! the drive its in is D:.....please help if you can. Did it just take a sh!t or is it something i can fix.

I had a problem installing the restore discs now it keeps locking up with write errors mid-way during installation etc...I want to comepletely erase the hard drive to start over. Any idea?
