I don't know how to uninstall my Internet Explorer browser cos someone says it is corrupted as whenever i try to download a file or game, it pops up a microsoft error windows asking me to close down the IE browser. And my com is windows 98. Can anyone pls help me ? Thanks.. :) I will choose the best answer.

I hope I remember how to do this right.
You cannot uninstall the browser since IE runs everything in Windows 98. However, there is an option to repair your corrupted browser.
From your "Start" menu, find "System" or "System Info"... something like that and click it...
When the System window opens, scroll down from "Tools" to find "Internet Explorer Repair Tool"
I apologize that I cannot be more certain of the correct way to do this, but I am sure that 98 has the IE repair tool. I used it many times when I had Windows 98. It was always successful in repairing the trouble. It has been a while since I have used 98 so I'm a little rusty.
If my directions are not accurate, try doing a system search for "Internet Explorer Repair Tool" or "Internet Explorer Repair Utility".

1 way is to install netscape browser and use it instead of ie.
