where would I find greeting card stock that is "traditional" size, (the same size as store bought cards)?

Hallmark used to sell it, but not now.

the size would be 51/2 x71/2 folded.

Like the person above said, you can find it at Staples. You can even order it online and have it delivered to you if you wanted.

I seem to remember seeing some at Staples.

hobby lobby or order blank cards from cafepress.com I think you can get them there. you may have to open a storefront and bye them from yourself at bace price.
