it depends on the speed of the dsl. There are 2 or 3 steps of speed by most providers. It's also a good idea to add $10-$15 above the advertised price for taxes and charges added. You can find services for as low as $12.99 all the way up to $40.

this site shows you all the providers for your phone #. dsl is the only way to go if you can get it, just as cheap as dial up and much faster.

I am with Bellsouth fast access and I pay 35 a month I think. It's either 35$ or less. I have the middle speed though, a somewhat slower DSL is available for 25$ I think. Cable kind is wayy to expensive.

$17.99/month is the Verizon price for 768k, little faster than 56k and always on connection
other places where there is more competition might have AT&T for about $12.99/month
