That's the only reason I can come up with that my bf (that I live with) would suddenly become obnoxiously grumpy....my ex boyfriend that I lived with for 5 years (and it was over with by 3 years before I started even dating my current bf) called tonight to mainly talk to my daughter (whom he has always maintained a close relationship with) and then me. He was talking about how he still loved me but I didn't actually encourage this but more or less tried to tell him not to stir up trouble in my life.

Technically, all electronics could be hijacked in a manner so that their information can be sent over another line to another source.

And I don't find it likely that a computer is able to record a phone conversation if the phone line is attached to the computer. The only way to tap a phone line is for some kind of hardware to intercept it. You can easily tap a copper wire phoneline which makes clicking and tapping noise like static over the line. That's the most basic way of phone tapping. There are other ways to record phone conversations such as just a recorder attached to the phone that sends it to another terminal like 3-way calling. Or another additional device can be attached that sends information to another using any type of transmission.

you can install a keylogger program to record any keystrokes, email conversations, chat logs, passwords and depending on the type of keylogger, they can even take screen shots of what he is browsing online and email the images to you (even ftp them).

As for the phoen conversations, I am not too familiar with computer to phone hardware/software.

No, telephones can not try this. you are able to, in spite of if, checklist it mutually as nevertheless speaking, in spite of if it is somewhat too overdue for that, eh? in case you have the prank call selection nevertheless on your resent calls on your telephone, then you definately can attempt to confirm who that selection belonged to. in spite of if it is going to take an prolonged time to do it your self, i could advise going to the police.
