I can type fast but I need to see the keyboard. But without seeng it, the speed becomes slow. I use all my eight fingers and the thumbs.

On some pages, like forums, the infomation runs off the page being viewed (to the right of the page), i need to ''shrink'' it all down so as i can veiw the page without scrolling to the left/right.
I also want a new browser window to open every time i look at a new page.
Please advise me.

While using my computer, all of my USB ports shut down. I have wireless keyboard and mouse occupying one in the back, and sometimes my iPod recharging in one in the front. Ever since I got a new desk and moved everything around (wiring, set-up of all the components...) my keyboard/mouse and iPod just stop working, and since they all stop working I'm assuming that all my USB ports shut down...but come right back about 15 seconds later. I checked the USB drivers in the system area and nothing is out of the ordinary. What could I have done by disconnecting and reconnecting everything for my new desk? It is NOT the iPod, because this issue occurred well before I got it.

OK, I know this is a dumb question, using MS Works 8.0. Has printed in black for me no problem. Let my kid use the computer, now it only prints in blue. She had tried to print a picture evidently, and it was coming out mostly faded blue. Tried going to Fonts and changing it, it's showing in black, just won't print black. The colored ink is low, especially now that I've printed about 15 pages trying to fix it. I use a refill kit-which has worked for me for awhile- for the black. Will changing the ink cartridges have anything to do with it? Thanks!

Several months ago, I put in a picture cd, and since then, my computer has been working crazy...mostly when I am on the web. My computer freezes, won't shut down (even when doing alt., ctrl delete), and the printer quit working. I have high speed, but it works slow...everytime I type in a search or open a new page, I get one of the following two pages popping up...http 404 not found or http://85. (and someother numbers following that) and it says redirect. I have McAfee virus scan, firewall, anti-abuse, pest patrol and spyware...all of which are fairly new. Anyway, anyone that can offer some help, it would be great...this a been a big headache, and I need to use my printer.

Turned on Spyware remover, it said hook.dll should be removed immediately. I looked online to see what it was, and it says it's a trojan. so i deleted it. now everytime i open my laptop it says "hook.dll load fail" Is that a problem? How do I go about removing the message?

I sent myself something to finsih from school. I opened the email and then downloaded the attachment. when it said hit open or save I hit open (Though I should've hit save) so i saved my work a couple of times and then closed it. After i closed it I thought "Wait, where did it save to?" My finacee was trying to help me get it, so he had me do exactly what I had done to begin with. I opened the email attachement and then hit save. Well, by doing that I "Saved" my half done project over my fully finished project! Is there any way to undo my save and go back? I REALLY need help!! It was like 3 hours of work!

My computer recognizes my iPod nano, but not my new 30g iPod. The new iPod is recognized on other computers. Nothing happens when I plugged it into my computer. The screen lights up, but itunes does nothing. I get no message from windows either. My usb ports clearly work and the ipod works, but they won't work together.

My friend has been having trouble with his mic. He has tryed numorous new computer microphones and no sound comes out when he talks. It is plugged into the right port, the volume and boost is all the way up in control panel, and the mics work in other computers. When he trys to talk in teamspeak or over skype, the only sound that comes out is what his computer puts out.. for example if he is holding his talk button and talking while im holding my button and talking, all i hear is myself in an echo, and other noises going on in the computer(aol chat beeps and music). Does anyone might know what could be wrong? even though im a computer tech... I cant look at his computer cause he is hundreds of miles away, and ive never encountered a similar problem. Do you think it is a bad soundcard, or bad driver? or is it something else

Lately my computer has been acting up for the past 4 days. when i check computer usage on task manager it says 100% and it wont go down from boot up to shut down. I have nothing running besides zonealarm and norton. I have run scanners and i have no virus,spyware, adware and i clear temporary files constantly. It hasnt ever done this before.
Specs:
pentium m 1.5ghrtz
1gig ram
128mb graphics card
60gig hd
