Several months ago, I put in a picture cd, and since then, my computer has been working crazy...mostly when I am on the web. My computer freezes, won't shut down (even when doing alt., ctrl delete), and the printer quit working. I have high speed, but it works slow...everytime I type in a search or open a new page, I get one of the following two pages popping up...http 404 not found or http://85. (and someother numbers following that) and it says redirect. I have McAfee virus scan, firewall, anti-abuse, pest patrol and spyware...all of which are fairly new. Anyway, anyone that can offer some help, it would be great...this a been a big headache, and I need to use my printer.

deffinatly sounds like a virus or a terrible spyware of some sort, if you have win XP, do a system restore and you dont loose documents when you do that and restore it to a few days before the picture cd incident,

worse comes to worse you can do a repair windows OS install where it just reinstalls windows but you keep all your data...

ok, you HAVE those programs but have you actually RUN a virus scan and a spyware scan because this definitely sounds like you have a virus.
