How do i change my browser options in XP pro?

On some pages, like forums, the infomation runs off the page being viewed (to the right of the page), i need to ''shrink'' it all down so as i can veiw the page without scrolling to the left/right.
I also want a new browser window to open every time i look at a new page.
Please advise me.

As far as I know you can't. The web page designer decides on the width of a page. & whether links will open in a new page

Go to VIEW and set the font size to SMALLER or SMALLEST
