can anybody tell me of any good free trojan removal tools. is there anyone useing any and what do they think of them. thank you for any help on this matter.

I have a couple of my Great Grampa's photo albums from 1908 along with a diary from a hiking trip. I want to put them all together in a book so everymember of my family can have a copy. I wonder if the light from the scanner will destroy the original pictures. And if its okay to scan the diary pages, pencil on cheap paper.

Hello all

I have a HP SCanjet 4300C that is NOT on WIndows Hardware Compatability List but had worked fine before. Now it is saying scanner not found...for some reason, windows is not detecting my scanner like it used to before. I am wonder why this is happening NOW. I called my hardware support line and they said that the hardware probably doesnt work anymore....which i find hard to believ since my computer says the device is working properly. Anyone can help me on this?

But i have been having to turn my pc off & on alot lately, and now when i plug the camera into the base, it says i can't retreive pictures because there is no TWAIN driver. What in the world IS that, and how do i install it? I tried the add hardware & device manager with no avail.. somebody, please help me!

Any equipment to transfer slides to computer? Some photocopiers did but it was imperfect, wasn't light-tight etc. It needs to allow for curved film and focus. I think film also has much more resolution than digital.

I just installed the "Vista compatible" drivers for my Lexmark X1100 series printer/scanner today. It prints okay but when I want to start the All-in-One-Centre a dialog saying "AIOC.exe has stopped working" pops up and the program quits. So I can't scan anything.

My scanner has been working improperly just recently. It scans the image but the resulting image is black. HP's online help does not seem to solve my problem.

I am in Iraq and every time I send I pic in e-mail it takes over 15 minutes sometimes 25 to scan and attach a picture to the mail I am sending. Why is that and how can I speed things up?
