it would be helpful if you were to add some details. If you want to scan photos or documents to your computer you will need to use the program that comes with your printer. Or you can use a Word or Greeting card program. on the files tab select the Acquire or import tab.

You need to be clearer in your question. Let me try these different alternatives.
1) You want to scan the existing picture which has come to you as an attachment by email for viruses - If yes, use the anti-virus software generally provided by the email provider. Yahoo for exampe uses Norton's Antivirus

2) You have already downloaded the pictures from some source like a camera to your compuer hard disk and want to scan them for virus. Simple, attach the picture file .jpeg for example to a email and mail it to a friend or yourself. The same antivirus software mentioned at S.No. 1 will do the job.

3) You have a physical picture print and want to scan the same to your computer. You need a scanner or All-in-one (Print, scan, copy etc.) or MFD (MutiFunction Device) and the software that comes with it. Save the file as a .jpeg file.

if your talking about virus scanning, rigth click my pictures and select your anti-virus you see there
