Hi...

As an ex-paratrooper and disabled Vietnam-era vet w/only a $900 a month VA disability pension to live off of, I can't afford something too expensive---or features I don't need.

Not a cheapskate, don't like "cheapiness"...but don't need to be wasteful and unnecessarily extravagant either.

I want a unit that prints, makes xerox copies and is a FAX machine. Am writer, not into photography and don't see need for scanner (whatever that is and why).

I want a unit that's truly solid, really rugged, long-lasting, of reliable quality, with excellent warranty and customer service backup....no mickey mouse stuff.

Figure laser is good, as I need to send quality compositions around---same with the FAX capability---but don't want to buy a cheap replacement laser every year, either.

Don't want smudgy/limp FAXes or xeroxes, either.

I'll spend up to $200 for it. My understanding: HP or EPSON is perfect. I would appreciate recommendations/model #s, etc.

I want to print this webpage, but the entire background is black. I dont want to waste my ink. How can I make the background white?

I dont want to copy and paste it to Microsoft Word because it wont prove that I was at the website. This is for an English project, I need to print directly from the website to prove I researched from there.

I have a pc package which came with a Lexmark printer/scanner, all in one. I have installed it and done the print test. When i tried to print a word document, all i get is the ' problem with the printer' error. It will not go through the print and scanner alignment stage. Whats going on?? any ideas? i have vista

I cannot print from the internet. Everything has to be transferred into a Word doc. before it will print. When I do try to print internet content, it prints a blank page.

im using windows xp but the copy is not genuine. i bought a new printer (Epson C45, USB port) and it used to be working before but i had a problem days after microsoft said the copy wasnt genuine...i couldnt find an epson printer driver in my add/remove programs (but it was installed before). its seemed to be not working anymore and when i tried to reinstall, it wouldnt install. does it have something to do with my not genuine copy of the windows or is there any other problem besides that?

I have an Epson CX5200 printer that has been sitting for about a year. I bought a new laptop and decided to install it. I can't find my original install disk so I downloaded the install drivers directly from Epson. They don't seem to work. It won't print or scan. I bought brand new ink and everything. I don't know what to do. Please help.

I got a canon printer from a friend, installed it om my computer with new ink cartridges. it installed great, but when i want to print a picture all it does is act like it is printing. the page is blank. tried different cartrideges, reinstalled printer drivers, cleaned all parts, made sure ports were correct. any ideas?

i have printer HP printer scanner and copier model 380. i have downloaded the driver on my laptop, on the desktop with the name psc300.exe and downloaded from HP site and did exactly the way i was told to do while downloading. I have created icon with the name psc300.exe as the instructions told me to do.But now i want to copy that to a CD and install that printer driver on my another computer.I dont know how do i copy that driver to CD and install it on another computer.
