how can i print a picture to several A4 sheets to create a big poster of that one picture?

i dont care if i lose picture quality

This is a option called Poster printing.
In the printer properties go to layout page, select Poster printing, select the size and number of paper and print.

Hi. Most printer software supports 'poster mode' that does just this.
