HP printer (F335) shows it is "offline." How do I get it back online?

I cancelled a print job and the trouble started.

you need to reboot your system if the HP icon is not showing in the system tray (by the clock on the task bar). With HP when you cancel a job, for some reason it sometimes closes out that icon, which is also the connect to the computer.
