I am trying to make my p3 proccesor go faster how do i do this.

I want to ask, what is the best screen resolution on my 17” LCD monitor?

My graphic card support resolution up to 1280 * 1024 but at the resolution I feel difficulty in reading text.

I want a comfortable view and high picture definition. Any expert?

wHEN i TURN ON THE PLUG AND PRESS THE POWER button in my CPU and later on turn on the monitor's button,then after a second in the monitor,there is written that the signal cannot be detected.What does that mean n what sud I do,pls help me to solve my problem pls

I accidentally pressed a button and my screen turned veritcal instead of the usual horizontal. Does anybody know how to fix this. I could use ASAP. Thanks

When I watch a video, the picture comes up 3/4 screen instead of Full screen. How do I make it Full screen? I have tried to drag the edeges, but that does not seem to work. Thanks for your help.

At the moment the dots (pixels?) are very spread out, the picture is larger than usual & resolution of pictures is shocking. It's only showing the darker contrasts. This is no thanks to my 5 year old of course......it's very annoying. Any pointers (clear, simple instructions) would be greatly appreciated.

It is a brand new computer... It was working fine for the first month or so, the only time it would restart was when I was playing a game. (Its still does that... and I don't know why.) now the screen turns off whenever I start to do other things too like watch movies or even just going on azureus or something. It did it three times today when I first started the computer up, I changed the screen resolution to the highest that it would go and it stopped restarting all the time. Is there something wrong with my video card? Oooor my screen? Oooor the user?

Ok, so the terminalogy may not be correct, but I need help. I have a start button in the left hand corner and a blue bar across the bottom screen. Well my son did something either with the keyboard or mouse and now the start button and bar and vertically up the right side of my screen and it is driving me nuts. HELP

I just bought a viewsonic lcd, which I chose because it is a good brand, and when the screen is supposed to be black it just seems dark grey. I don't notice it unless there is a large black area on screen. Otherwise it has good color and sharpness. turning the brightness and contrast down doesn't create a true black.

I miss the true black of my crt, but the lcd is sexy and it creates a lot of space on my desk.

So is there a way to get true black, or are all LCDs like that?

I always wondered if my computer monitor can stay on.. It says no sync and makes a noise and goes in standby? Do i still have to use the power switch to put it off?? I always wondered maybe for 10 years and now i ask ? funny lol

When I turn on my comp, the fans run and the lights come on but the screen remains black and says NO SIGNAL INPUT. I checked all the connections and everything appears to be running right but it won't come on? I have minimal knowledge of the inner workings of my computer so any help would be great. Oh, and in english please. I don't understand most comp terms! LOL. Thanks!
