Yes, I do.
And ... I believe in trying my best to keep it too.

There is a great deal of power in symbolism, & a whole new number for the next 365 days can be quite symbolic....for change.

I love this time of year. There are so many great days for "starting over." New Years Day, Epiphany, Islamic New Year, Lunar / Asian New Year.

Special days have a kind of symbolism that makes "starting over" seem more do-able and meaningful for some people. For others, on any day of the year they can just say, "Well, today is the first day of the rest of my life" and do their starting-over from there.

I like to start on New Years Day. Then try again on Epiphany, and again on the Islamic New Year, and of course again on the Lunar New Year. I figure practice makes perfect and somewhere along the line I'll get all my resolutions perfectly fulfilled. Maybe next year.

Maybe I'm to serious minded, but I feel making a resolution is like making a promise. I never make promises because, if I can't keep a promise, I don't want to disappoint anyone including myself.

I do hope 2007 will be as good as 2006.

It's useless to make a resolution about losing weight, because there is always all sorts of party food sitting around on New Year's Day.

I doubt it. I constantly used to assert on the beginning up of each 12 months that i exchange into going to "paintings greater good" in the arriving 12 months....yet i assume that exchange into ordinarily for the period of my college days....and that i don't think of it ever appeared to paintings! So....I doubt i would be making a decision for 2008.

No,I don't even bother to make useless
resolutions. The more you go to McDonalds
and eat meat everyday,the more
of a chance that your resolution will be broken.

No I don't, as if you want to do something why wait till a new year to get on with it.
