I got a juice spilled over my lap-top keybord and now it's very hard to press the keys, probably because of the sugar in the juice. Any advice how to clean this mess? Thanks!

I just bought a new labtop only to discover it had an intel chipset.. so i said hey ill give it a shot.. i try to run 5 year old direct x 8 games and wow not impressed.. personally i think all computers should be outfitted with good graphics cards especially labtops due to the difficulty in upgrading them... nvidia is my favorite atm.. just cause every other card ive used has been of poor quality and easily broken down..

-I bought a 14.1" HP pavilion dv2419us from Circuit City and the dimensions that were stated online said Height= 9.3", Width=13.2", and the Depth="1.5".
-I'm confused b/c the 15.4's dimensions are kinda opposite to the 14.1" b/c the Height=1.6", Width=14.1" and Depth=10.1".
-SO how can the height be so small for the 15.4"?
-is the website wrong? Is teh Height and Depth mixed up? Which one is right?
-how do you measure your laptop size?
-I am so confused - I can't buy a laptop sleeve unless I find out what i'm doing.

my laptop has a wirless switch.when its off theres a little light thats orange, and when you turn it on the light is supposed to turn blue, even if you are not connected to the internet. When I turn the switch on the light stays orange. And my wireless internet isn't working. The HP wireless assistant won't open either. Is there anyway I could fix this without having the internet on that computer, and without having to purchase anything? What's even wrong with it?

It seems that everything wireless has erased from my computer

Hi! I am interested in purchasing the new Dell XPS M1330 laptop mainly for school use. When customizing this laptop, an option is to either get the Creative Labs Express Sound Card for $50 or the included Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition. I am a college student getting ready to go back to school, and I need a laptop computer. My problem however, is that I do not have enough credit (not that I have bad credit). I haven't had enough purchases to build it. So Iam looking for a program in which I can pay low monthly with no credit checks. I have a job! I have already tried Dell, HP, Toshiba, but they have all rejected me. I went to My Computer Club, but Ive never heard of them and they seem to good to be true! Also I heard Blue Hippo was a hoax! Ive also tried Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Sams and again rejected! Any suggestions?

I have the above laptop specs are not good 2.66 P2 proceesor 64 Mb ram non upgradeable running XP sp2,
I only use this for reading my mail and im getting a bit Kissed off at having to scroll across the screen to read my msgs as i cannot change screen size to full screen,
I have been told that i need to change or get another graphics driver,
This is where i would like some help plz.....
1) Where would i get a driver from and how would i know if it will work ?
2) How do i install it or run it ?

I'm buying my first laptop and will just use it for personal use. I want to spend less than $700. I saw this Gateway MX8738 at Best Buy today and it seemed great, but I couldn't find any reviews on the net. Does anybody know anything about this particular Gateway Notebook - or what Gateway's reputation is for their notebooks? Or where I could find a review on the net? Or what would be a better choice and where I could get it? I want to buy this on Sunday, August 5.

My fairly old Sony Vaio PCG-FXA47, will not power on. If i press the power button, nothing happens on the screen, but the power lights go on, only until i take my finger off it. The screen stays pitch black, and no fans go on, etc, it doesnt turn on. Also, I charged it all night, and still the same problem. Please help, what can possibly be wrong with it? How do I fix it? Suggestions?

1. my gpu is a nvidia geforce go 6150. It is curently using 64 mb of memory. But total avalible memoy is 287. how come i can only put the memory up to 12.

2. when i go to systemrequirementslab.com to see if i can run oblivion my pc fails on the gpu it says

video ram 128- you have 64mb fail
video card acceleration- pass
hw transform lighting pass
vertex shader requiered 2.0- you have 3.0
pixel shader requiered 2.0-you have 3.0

So i changed the video memory in bios to 128 mb but then it says

video ram 128- you have 128mb FAIL
video card acceleration- pass
hw transform lighting pass
vertex shader requiered 2.0- you have 3.0
pixel shader requiered 2.0-you have 3.0

SO CAN I RUN OBLIVION

It is a A215-S4757 model and it is brand new. What happens is i will be for example surfing the web and all of the sudden the screen just goes blank. I press ctrl+alt+del and nothing happens. So I have to hold down the power button to turn it off and when I turn it back on, it says that windows did not shut down properly. This has happened about four times now and i have no idea wha it is. Is there anyhting i can do to stop this from hapenening.
