Hi! I am interested in purchasing the new Dell XPS M1330 laptop mainly for school use. When customizing this laptop, an option is to either get the Creative Labs Express Sound Card for $50 or the included Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition. Which do you recommend I get my laptop with? Thank you for your help; I appreciate it.

if you are using it only for schoolwork i suggest you don't get it, but if you plan on downloading and listening to music i recommend an updated sound card just because it will give you better quality sound

go for the hardware
from what other notebook forums have been posting hardware is better than a software emulation of a CL sound card

why pay for a sound card when there is already one integrated unless your going to be doing some serious music making...
