How old is it?

You may need to get a new one.

They don't last forever.

If it is new and still under warranty, contact the store where you purchased it.

how old is it? if its more then 2 years old and you charge it a lot then its time to get a new one. also do not charge those kind of batteries until the power is almost gone. if you charge it lets say when its only half then the next time you use the battery it will die at the half way point. those cadmium and lithium batteries have whats called memory and only run down to the point you put the charger on. the only way you can try to change that is to short out the battery and then recharge it. but if you do that the battery could explode so its best just to get a new one.

I'm having the same problem, and I think it has something to do with Windows Vista.
