Hi i have a Dell Laptop Inspiron 9400 which runs a Mobile Intel945GM Express Chipset Family (graphics card), i have some questions:

What are the capabilities of this "video card"?
Does it is 32MB DirectX 9 compatible?
What kind of games can i play for this card?

Ok, my laptop is always plugged into because I use it as a desktop replacement, recentley the power cuts off and it switches to battery power. When I unplug it from the back of the laptop and plug it back in it fixes it for a couple minutes. The longer I use it the shorter amount of time it works until it doesnt work at all. Also the metal piece that plugs into the laptop gets hot. What I need to know is if its a problem with the charger or battery.

I really need to figure this out. School starts on the 23rd, and I need to go get one of these before then!

I like the affordability and color of the black Macbook.

On the other hand, I really like the design, and sleekness of the MBPro. Also, I love the power that the unit possesses.

BTW, I will obviously use a student discount. Which one to get?

P.S. Do I "need" .Mac, and what will it do for me? Also, I noticed on the apple website that they offer a discount on Adobe Photoshop and it's only $199.99 w/ the laptop. I love photoshop, but could I do without it and use something else? And is it the full version?

Im not going to be running much high graphics software or games. People say that it takes memory from ram but my notebook has 2gb and using another 1gb by ready boost
how does it compare to dedicated graphics cards with the same amount of memory? can i upgrade to another graphics card in the future, like nvidia or ati on my nothebook

I have a gateway solo 1200 laptop. I upgraded it to a 40 GB HDD, 256MB RAM, a wireless networking card, and windows xp pro. also it has I think a celeron prossessor(not sure) but 800 Mhz processer speed. How much is it worth? its also in great condition.

I want to buy a laptop but he only problem is my friends keep telling me to get a Mac computer and they have never owned one themselves a day in there life; Nor do they know anyone that owns one.

So I was just wondering if anyone could answer this question:
Why does everyone pefer a Mac computer over an average everyday ordinary one that has just the same amount of memory (or more) and by the way is cheaper than a Mac?

I don't know much about computers, and theres one i am looking at and the hard drive is 80 GB, is that enough? AND PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS IS TRUE one of my friends said it would be kind of slow if its 80? IS THAT TRUE? Ok and the labtop is only $350, and you save $200 or w/e, but if you could check it out on Circuit city.com and tell me if this is a good computer or bad. THANKS, ill be looking for a best answer.

I was wondering what it's for.
It pops out if you want it to, and it's got these three different sides holes in it.
The symbol for it is this rectangular box that's supposed to look like it's moving.

Does anyone know what it's for?
I'm thinking memory cards and such, but I'm definitely not sure...

Ok, so I have the mac iBook, but I am starting law school and really need the new one with intel.

I was thinking about getting the macbook pro, but is it really worth the $1000 more than the regular macbook?

Also, the IT guy at school said I should wait until the OS comes out (he thinks October) does anyone know anything about it? I couldn't find anything on apple's web site. Will it be the "new" macbook or will they still have those and this be totally different? Thanks!

yesterdsay while i was cleaning my registry everything went fine but then today in the morning my task bar went to classic and i couldnt change anything had no internet or nothing wouldnt even let me system restore can someone help me please how do i do the restore from the computer i have no disks
