Macs, hands-down, for the reasons stated above. There's nothing they can't run anymore, and you get a solid machine with the best OS available anywhere.

This is really a matter of personal taste, I prefer PCs for the following reasons: They are cheaper, easier to fix, (parts are available from many stores and online) you can build your own PC to the specific requirements you have. the Virus issue stated by the first poster is not an issue at all. You only get viruses and spyware if you do not have a firewall/virus checker...or if you regularly go on suspect websites. I also prefer the controls and standard keyboard layout of PCs.
Also tbh i just don't like the look or feel of Macs in general. and I don't like MacOSX either.
there are many other issues i could mention but those are the main things that make me prefer PCs.

it depends on what you plan on doing with it

if you are going to get into graphial design ad video editing mac are much mor stable


but tht is the only benefit of a mac

and for gods sake dont get a mac book they are purely fashion ipod syndrome unfortunatel its just a name there is so much better for so much less

i hate mirosoft just as much as i dislike apple but i would rather put up with a few problems that i can fix easily in a pc than have to take to some pompouse numpty to get it repaired for half as much as it cost to buy the damn thing in the first place

PC, because Mac's are slow and crash. I always giving me that spinning rainbow color wheel and crashes.

Mac. OSX is much better then windows. macs do not get ne vireses,adware, or spyware. macs can also run windows.
