Laptops & Notebooks - July 2007

The screen is now misalligned with the main part of the laptop . everything else is fine. Does anyone know how I can re align the screen with the body so when i close it, it closes properly without paying 700 dollars as quoted by the apple tech support? any help would be greatly appreciated.

okay so theres usally a blue light on my speaker now its off what do i do?Its not workin!It just shutted off when i had the music full blast!And is NOT on mute!so how do i fix it?Or do i have to buy new computer speakers whats the deal!!!!

I like the designs of laptops because it combines everything into one unit, and gets rid of the need for excess wires. I hate wires and bulkiness when it comes to computers, and want to have it as simple as possible. Is a laptop what I'm looking for? Or is it a waste of money when I don't intend to take it places?

Im getting a new notebook and have no clue what the 1.6 GHz vs 1.80 GHz vs 2.0 GHz means. I am not going to do gaming or anything like that, just take notes in class, surf the net, upload pictures etc maybe some editing and creating movies. also listen to music etc. which speed is the best to have for stuff like that. is there one thats better to have when you have windows vista home premium and say 120-160 GB hard drive and either 1 or 2GB memory. thanks

It's only a 8MB and i could really do with a 32MB video RAM for my CPX or if it's not avalible a laptop with 32MB Video RAM for under £400.

I want something with about a 12'' screen. Good fast performance, and durable (non plastic material). The price should be under $1000.

Right now I have a dell inspiron 6000. But its falling apart and i never abused it in any way. Its also getting slow, not starting up fast, and sometimes has trouble turning off. It has a 15.4'' screen which is too big for me.

I went to balance volume of the leftand right speaker on my laptop out. However I presssed diable by mistake. It now says that there is no audio device installed. How do I enable them again?

Please note that it is nothing to do with them being muted as has been previously mentioned to me.

I recently purchased this computer for my dad...but then I borrowed it for an exam before he even got a chance to use it. Now it freezes almost every day for no apparent reason. It doesnt seem to be overheating, I did the fn + power diagnostic test to no avail...I dont know what to do!! please help, I can't return this computer like this!

Hi......
Sometimes I cannot establish my wireless connection on my vista loaded laptop(Toshiba A200-19L).It is preloaded with vista home premium and therefor I dont think that this is the problem of my wireless driver.After 2, 3 restarts, it will display my wireless network and then will connect.I have a desktop also and it will not create any problems with this wireless.I dont know whether this is the problem of my lap or vista.can anybody help me?????????????????????
