Well that depends on if you are wanting Windows or MAC operation system. Apple produce some of the most reliable PC's and laptops in the world. Sony Vaio is a good Windows based machine however you do pay for what your getting. Toshiba are alittle cheaper, however they do turn over 20 million units last year and of that had about a 1.5% return rate. Good luck in choosing...

Ok the company that I think make good laptop is alienware. They put the best stuff into there computer so you get to experience your computer to the fullest and dont get a mac. Most program runs on windows. Hope this helps :)

you learn a lot by what people are moaning about rather than people saying how great there laptop is !

sony vaio are by far the best windows based laptop, ive never had an apple so i cant say. sony are a bit more expensive than other makes but you get what you pay for and they are the best for reliability and they have many models to choose from

well lenovo (ibm) thinkpads are the highest quality windows based laptop, but apple macbook pro's are the best overall.

Honsestly..Iwould have to say that compaq makes the best!!It already comes with a CD burner installed,and it has alot of cool features as well!!GOOD LUCK!!
