I didn't purchased one, it was a big mistake, 6 months after the warrantly expires, laptop is having alot of serious issue, if repair that thing would cost me easily 500+, so yes external warrantly is worth any penny, cause without warrantly, any amound of repair would cost you 150+ parts and labor. I am serious. Unless you want to buy a new pc.

I have the accidental warranty and it's great. I've had a few accidents with my computer including spilling tea on it, and it was great to have it fixed quickly and for a low cost to no cost. The extended warranty may not cover these accidents so if you aren't extremely careful you might want to consider the accidental warranty over the extended care warranty.

well wen my brother had his a little while ago i got him the 2 year warranty, and accidental damage care. its now way over its warranty and he hardly uses it nemore, but im glad i got the warranty 4 it b/c after 6 months or so the hard drive crashed.

get a warranty and acidental damage care for laptops, u do not need it with desktops b/c parts are readily avaliable.

I had a Dell for business use and repairs etc fantastic.

Not too sure on private sales.

If insurance not too expensive, and is quite comprehensive, go for it.

The value of insurance is only evident when you need it and have none.
