nothing it won't charge.. or it could blow your system. go to the manufactures web site and buy one to fit your system.. thats the best thing to do... think safety first

if the watage is within 5 volts then it will work fine. If it has less then that It'll tear up your battery because it will not charge at the appporpriate rate. If it has to much voltage it will put the extra power through your mother board and toast it. It is never agood idea to use an adapter that is more than 3 or four volts off of the recomendation found on the bottom of your laptop.

Too many, or less than needed? If too many then you can burn out your laptop. If it's too little output in the adapter then it just won't do anything. Usually though the adapters are made that only one fits..

u can end up shorting the power circuit witch will result to finishing your laptop, u can only use an ac adapter with the right amount of watts or els u will wreck your laptop

you could possibly fry the battery and/or the laptop because electronics are designed for a particular voltage, power, and polarity. even just switching the polarity can fry everything because it's the same as plugging in a battery backwards.
