When i close my laptop, it's suppose to go to sleep mode. Sometimes it does, but most of the time it doesn't! How can i make it always go to sleep mode when i close it?

Christ another bloody Acer. My Acer does the same actually, I find the best thing to do is lower the lid really slowly while looking at the screen. When the backlight goes off, it will go into sleep mode.
Sometimes you need to raise the lid slightly after closing it, just make sure the backlight goes off though.

Haven't run into that with 3 different ones. Have you possibley gone in and set up a personal power profile? The basic should work with whatever changes you want to apply. Check for power panel upgrades. Seems I recently saw some as one of the downloads.
