Ok here is my question, I have a 7900 gs AGP video card, I know, I Know I need to upgrade unfortunately my wife and money wont allow, listen I just got this video card, I went from a fx 5200 ultra. Anyway back to the question. I need a better way to cool it, to hold me over till I have money to completely upgrade EVERYTHING. I have been looking at zalman and thermaltake and different companies, but I just took my stock fan and heatsink off and the chip isnt in the middle like I have seen most applications it is to the far right side of the card with another chip in the middle at the bottom of the card. My fear is that any coolers I get will not fit because there designed for chips in the middle of the card and what do I do about that chip toward the lower end of the card. I NEED A COOLING METHOD, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I am looking to buy a web cam for my boyfriend for xmas, but I don't know anything about them. He's a dj and will use it to record his scratching. I need something with a good resolution and a clear picture that will record his movements, but I wouldn't know where to even start. What would be a good resolution or brand?

Thanks!

I want to upgrade from an ATI Radeon X1600 Pro AGP video card to a X1950 AGP card, but that card requires a PSU bigger than 460 Watts. My motherboard is a ASUS P4C800-E that is 5 years old. Can someone tell me if a 500 Watt PSU will fry the motherboard if i put it on?

Okay so my comp is running on two 256mb cards and I was wondering if my system could handle the upgrade to 1gb or even better 2gb of memory. My comp runs on windows XP with a pentium 4, 1.7ghz processor.

HI, when i set my computer up and added a few external disk drives, xp labled them F,G,I ect.. Since then I needed to use a camera card and the order of the drives was altered by Windows. So the computer now calls the F drive H, the H drive G and so on. This is problematic since the host programs I use thinks that the F drive is still F (even though it is now called G) and then cannot find the program. In certain cases the program doesn't allow me to find and link the files I need, making the program useless. I would like to restore the order of my drives . How do I do this?

I have been through the set up procedure but the mic is not being detected. i.e my voice is not moving the graphic indicator regardless of volume setting. Maybe it's just a faulty mic. What do you think?

I just moved and currently do not have a TV. I know, it's crazy. I have a spare Hanns G 19" Inch TFT LCD Monitor that I could use, if I only knew what cords/cables/hookups I need to get the connection working. If that monitor doesn't work, I also have the monitor I'm using right now (I could switch them) - it's essentially the same (Hanns G 19") but this one is TFT Widescreen LCD. Time Warner came and installed the cables from the wall into the cable box which is sitting on a box on the living room floor with no television to hook up to. We figured to ask you guys if we can put that spare LCD monitor to use as a "temporary TV" and if so, what we might need to buy to do it. If someone knows and would be so kind, please recommend specific LINKS if these cables or whatever are available online, or even a sort of general walk-through. Thanks so much! Is this easier than we thought or more complicated? Any help/answers on any of this is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!!!

I have a 512mb Kingston stick in my computer. I recently just got a 512mb Nanya stick. When I put it into my computer, it made a funny noise and the screen stayed black. I turned off my computer and took out the Nanya stick. After a few minutes, I popped back in the Nanya stick with the Kingston still in. My computer started up just fine. But when everything loaded, some programs had errors and my computer notified me that I had a hardware failure with one of my RAM sticks. Turned off my computer and took out the Nanya. Started my computer back up, and it worked just fine. Would like to know if there is something I have to do in order to have those 2 RAM sticks working together. Any help with letting me now how to use both RAM sticks. (Sorry for the long details)
