Not by a long shot for consumer-grade computer electronics, some tricky engineering had to be done on behave of the masses for such migration to go smooth.

Card-based daughterboard solutions did exist for consumer-grade on Z80, Motorola 68k long ago and server-grade market use card-based daughter processor solutions from its inception of such market decades ago.

But there is yet no cartridge types that plugs outside the case.
