My pc configuration is Intel core 2 duo 1.8 Gh. Intel D946GZ1S motherboard 1GB Ram 533Mhz. And I want to instal apples Mac osx on it. Is it possible?

i bought a mac but ti doesnt have a phone jack port where you would plug in the phone cord, is there any extension or somethingi can get thtat will have this. like is there an adapter or something where you plug it into the usb and then at the other end there is the phone jack port? i some how need this phone jack port so ne suggestions would be helpful.

I'm not sure if others would agree but this card is extremely difficult install.

Here's my first question: How can I disable the onboard graphics of my mobo? I can't get the card running in the first place, because the onboard graphics keeps on coming back. I just get a black screen when I turn on my PC even, though I have uninstalled the S3 ProSavage DDR already, placed in radeon on the AGP slot (and yes connected my monitor to radeon)

My system specs:
Windows XP Professional SP2
MSI P4MAM-V MoBo
Intel Celeron 2.0GHz and 256mb of RAM
VIA Chipset P4M266
Phoenix BIOS (it says "version 6.00 PG 12-23-2004")

I don't think it's power related 'cause I got it working the other day but I think I did something really bad 'cause my system wouldn't boot and I had to use system restore. Now I can't get the card working again.

and BTW, I will be asking about the driver later. Thanks to anyone who will respond...

For graphics card which one should I get? The NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra or the XFX 7950 GX2 QUAD SLI. I heard their both good, but what are the differences? For sound card which one should I get? The Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite or the Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum. Give me information that I might need to knoe about the cards. Thanks a lot!

i hv 80 gb hdd, and i am using winxp sp2. i hv currently 4 partitions with 20 gb each..but my c drive is already only 40% free. if i format and keep only 3 partitions with c drive as 40 gb..will it b helpful concerning the speed and performence.....and i hope it does not hv any adverse affect on my system..

Hello, I'm about to send my Inspiron 2200 Dell laptop back to be repaired, and I would like to upgrade to a nice graphics card. I bought this computer new about 1 year ago. I recently replaced a CD Burner on my PC with a Pioneer 112D DVD/CD Burner. I appears on WinExp as the DVD burner till I load a blank DVD into the tray when it appears on WinExp as a CD drive and will not recognise the dvd disk. What is happening and how do I fix it?

I use a sandisk micro cruzer thumb drive and when i first use it on windows vista it woks but when i take it out and try to use it again the computer wont detect it, it shows that it is plugged in but when i click on my computer its not displaying like the rest of my drives.

I have a Sony VAIO PCV-RX860 and it has 32mb of Video Memory preinstalled on the motherboard. I was wondering if by upgrading this card by adding a new 256mb or 512mb through AGP will it increase PC performance? I mean speed not graphics wise.

I have a eMac Power PC G4 w/256 MB of memory. Can I install another RAM stick or replace the existing RAM stick with one w/more memory? Is it as easy to do as it is in a PC? Do I need to look for a special brand or type such as DDR?

The specs of the XFX Geforce 7600 GT XXX edition and reviews are tempting compared to the EVGA Geforce 7900 GS KO. The extra pixel pipelines in the 7900 GS are tempting but the clock speed and memory are significantly lower. it is just a few bucks more.

The fan is making lots of noises, and I plan on having someone else install a new fan since I cannot figure out how to get the thing out (I see no screws, latches, and pulling doesn't get it out either). I am not trying to be sold but I would like something of better quality than this. How much should I spend? Are there reliable brand names anyone knows of?

Thinking of upgrading my processor from AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ to a AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

Will I have to change anything in the BIOS, or will the driver automatically update over the Internet, or is there some software included with the processor or something?

My OS is Windows Vista h.p

I am currently looking into buying a new video card to upgrade from my integrated Nvidia6100 and I would like a video card with DirectX10. I am planning on spending under $200.

For example:

Would I rather have a Nvidia 8500GTS with 256 MB with a Core clock speed at 675MHz and Memory Clock speed at 2000HMz
OR
Would I rather have a Nvidia 8600GT with a Core clock speed at 540MHz and Memory Clock speed at 667MHz?

Any recommended cards by the way? I'm planning to buy off of Newegg.com if that makes a difference.
