You need a 2-port USB KVM switch.

Here's one for $35 after rebate, but you should be able to find one for less than that elsewhere:

Yes, it could be. but there is a way around it.

You are looking for a KVM switch. this will enable several towers to share one set of devices. But the do not support USB.

So you will have to look for a peice of software called Ultra VNC. this will allow you to remotely connect to your computers when they are networked together (connected to the router, hub crossover etc...).
To use this though, you will need to disable the warning messages from your second computers BIOS. this will allow it to boot straight into windows with no problems.

Otherwise, try getting a PS/2 keyboard and mouse. KVM switches love these and will work like a dream, without installing any software!

From my pc I connect vast Plasma-40 two" trough s-video cable and different 2-to -a million audio cable.I paid around 15$ for them.Ask in any pc save. that's basic.
