The specs of the XFX Geforce 7600 GT XXX edition and reviews are tempting compared to the EVGA Geforce 7900 GS KO. The extra pixel pipelines in the 7900 GS are tempting but the clock speed and memory are significantly lower. it is just a few bucks more.

The 7900 looks to be about 25% better.

The 7900GS is a lot better. The eight extra pixel pipelines more than make up for slower clock speed, and the memory and the fact that is 256 bit memory compared to 128 bit memory on the 7600 makes the memory bandwidth on the 7900 much higher.

go to newegg and go with the xfx 8600gt they are the best choice and they also have a 8500gt and a 8600gts

the rebates end the 30 so order before then and you will get a good deal i would go with the $159.99 one that is the one i am going to get and it is the best way go go direct x10 without geting a 8800 and i would get one of these anyway not just for dx10 but also becouse of ddr3 instead of ddr2 these are the best choices
but if you must go with the 7900gs ko if you have to but i would not
