Yes you can but BIOS will just synchronize the speed of both modules to the speed of the slower one w/c is 533Mhz. If you have an Intel setup, it doesn't matter. BUT if you have AMD AM2, you lose the potential performance benefit of running w/ faster (667mhz) RAM.

In practice, it is always recommended to add RAM of the same type and speed, it may work, but what will happen is that it will all run at the slowest speed in this case 533Mhz.

I would recommend to install both sticks of the same speed.
