I just received a CD-ROM for my computer ,(GX-260),once I install it, do I need anything to copyor burn aCD?

I'm an older beginner trying to become computer literate,if Ican. This my first computer and from I understand,there are endless possibilites that can be done by computer.

You can't burn a CD using a CD-ROM, you will need a CD-Writer.

Just plug the CD Rom, and put i the CD's. I don't think any program is needed to be installed if you just wanna play CD's.

Can't do much w/ that old thing. Get a DVD writer (cheap, <$35). Install Nero burning software and Power DVD and you will really enjoy using your PC, GUARANTEED.
