I have an inexpensive Radio Shack keyboard (Model: MD-501), which I want to use as a midi controller. It has a single barrel-shaped midi output. I know it's not the greatest, but I still want to use it. What type of midi cable do I need? I have a Soundblaster card with a midi input (squarish and flat). Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject.

I have a Dell Dimension 4550 desktop/pc and im looking into buying DDR SDRAM for it. It only came with 256 MB, and has 2 slots. I want to get a 512MB card, but im not sure. If i get 512MB will it be added on to my 256MB memory making my pc have 768MB? Or is that not possible and it needs to be either 256, 512 or 1024 MB total memory?
Also, does the memory the pc comes with take up one of my 2 card slots?
I mostly want to know if its possible to support 768 MB of memory.
My PC doesnt support dual channel memory.

Because there is a finite number of read/write cycles (typically 10,000 - 100,000) in which flash RAM will function, it's possible to exceed the life cycle of a flash RAM device fairly quickly if writes are always done to the same physical blocks of memory. To avoid the problem, manufacturers of flash RAM devices can incorporate "wear leveling" that remaps the blocks so that writes occur evenly throughout the physical locations of the flash device.

Do all modern flash RAM devices use this wear leveling technology?
