how do I get the audio on my web cam to work?

Your webcam musthave built-in microphone (we don't have many models have built-in microphone). You should check wether it has. If it has, install the webcam'sdriver correctly Because webcam usually uses USB which every PC has this port so I'm sure that you got the right port to connect. use the software provided with your webcam or volume control to control the micro.

More info is needed please. What kind of WebCam, using what programs, Are you sure it has a built in Mic?
