I want to upgrade my RAM from single 512 mb DDR to "512mb(existing) + 1gb(new)" .. will it work properly?

I am worried weather one 1 GB and one 512 MB rams will support each other or not.. or is it necessary that i should use both rams with same value?

It depends on the maximum amount of memory supported by the motherboard. Go to your manufacturers website and look at the specs for your model. If it will support 1.5 gb then it will work. However, lots of memory today is sold in pairs with matching specs for optimal performance. You might want to look into that. Good Luck.

No, they dont have to be the same value but i would go online and check your computer specs to see the max supported ram value for your computer/motherboard.

the idechronic would not care in any respect how super yourchronic is. If it somewhat is a pentium d gadget it very very nearly particularly can help sata drives. you will get a one million terabytechronic for greater or less $10 greater advantageous than a 500.

if you really want to add 1gig of ram to your computer...i strongly advised you to get 2 memory modules instead of one IF your motherboard supports dual channel...second is for troubleshooting, if one fails you still have another memory...but again check the specs of your motherboard to maximize the use of your memory...

hope this helps...

It will work fine. Any computer new enough to use DDR will take that configuration.
