I'm trying to upgrade from dial up to DSL and learning I don't have enough RAM. My system has 124 MB of RAM. The Yahoo DSL installation requirements are telling me I have 124 and 128 is recommended and I NEED 64 MB. What is the least invasive and least expensive way to get more RAM on my current system? Can I purchase this at Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. ? Easy installation for an average Jane?

Ok, so I'm trying to record videos on my webcam and post them on youtube. But my webcam recording program records in too high quility and is too big to upload to Youtube. Anyone know of some good webcam recording programs? thanks

I need to know what I need to hook up my computer to my television as a monitor, and play my media files Divix, ISOs, mpeg, ect. and also use a remote to control my computer, what cards and cable should I buy, this comp I am going to put together will also serve as my home network server.All I want it to do is use the TV speakers and video, while having all the files that I want to share with my family on it. My manual says IDE 1 Master HD, and slave DVD. Ide 2 master DVD. That is how I set it up. Second answer told me never put DVD on same IDE as HD. What is correct? Also how do I check the bios, and what should it read?

Can someone tell me the correct configuration and settings if I'm installing 2 burners (IDE 1 & 2, slave, master). I installed 2 burners. When I booted up, the system recognized the brand, then while searching for drivers, started saying cd-rom and dvd-rom, and then I got the blue screen fatal error and computer restarted itself. After it restarted, I looked in device manager, and the brand name wasn't there. It only said master IDE controller, primary controller and secondary controller, as if some type of genetic driver were installed. Please help.

out of 24 gb the space left is under 200 mb..i have .net 2k5 and sql 2005 as haeavy apps.. nd plus windows XP updates..in widnows directory as space eaters..cant find anyting else taking up so much space.. :( HELP!!

My office just upgraded me to a new computer - Dell. When I put in a music CD, it makes a buzzing noise. It is not very loud but is distracting. I can hear the CD fine. Why is this and what to do about it? No other problems yet.

I only have one output slot in my computer. I have 2 HP speakers, one subwoofer, and two additional speakers. How do i get all these speakers to work? I can connect the subwoofer to the HP speakers, and the two additional speakers to the subwoofer, but sound only comes out in the two HP speakers. Everything is in good condition and is not broken.

i have alot of junk that i wanna get rid of, and alot of it i believe i should get money for...well it's not junk junk...but its junk to me of course. specifically i want to sell my external Cd burner/dvd player drive. it doesn't just burn music cds. it burns all kinds: video cd, photo cd, cd-rw etc. i tried google but am not getting anywhere. i found a site called itpartshopper but it appeared not to have listed my item even though it said it did...i think cuz only companies can sell there..cuz when i searched through drives, they were all from companies. plz HELP! i could really use the money and im pretty sure its too late to return it as ive had it for several months now. i only used this drive a few times and i have everything that came w/it so condition shouldn't be a problem
do NOT say Ebay cuz ive tried selling that and other stuff on there and i never get anywhere....to me selling on Ebay is a waste of money, too much seller fee.

I have and AMD Sempron 3200+ 64 Bit processor, 1GB of memory, and an onboard graphics, i wanted to add in a proper Graphics Card, the onboard graphics are ok, but not great. What would be the best one, but not expensive. The onboard graphics is an ATI Radeon Xpress 200.
