I'm doing a project on AGP vs. PCI Express and I need some help do you think you guys can give me a few pointer on how PCI Express is better than the original AGP. Please I need your help bad...and if you could give me a few books I can read so I can be more educated about the topic. Please and Thank You

because it has higher bandwidth
up to 8 times faster and the new PCI express 2 will be 32 times faster

Pcie x16 delivers up to 4 times the bandwidth of Agp 8x.
Even though at the moment Agp8x would still be fast enough . Hardware manufacturers just wanted people to upgrade.
Just Google it and you will find whatever info you need.

it allows for a more data to go between the card itself, and the board its attached to. as far as i know, there isnt a card that uses PCIE to the max
