I have and AMD Sempron 3200+ 64 Bit processor, 1GB of memory, and an onboard graphics, i wanted to add in a proper Graphics Card, the onboard graphics are ok, but not great. What would be the best one, but not expensive. The onboard graphics is an ATI Radeon Xpress 200.

Judging by the fact that your pc came with integrated graphics, it's safe to say that it isn't equiped with a very powerful power supply, so forget about using a GeForce 7950. Also, the Sempron processor means your computer is definitely cpu limited, so a high end graphics card would be pointless.

I just bought a GeForce 7600GS for my computer to replace my 6600, and it is fantastic. And it only cost $150. It is an excellent economical choice and was targeted specifically for people like you who are updating your onboard graphics.

It has remarkable performance for such an inexpensive GPU. With it, I am able to run Doom 3 at High Quality, 1024x768 resolution and still easily manage 60fps. Of course, I'm using an Athlon 64 3500+, but it isn't that much of a leap from your CPU.

Go with the GeForce 7600GS. Trust me, you will see astronomical improvements in your computers performance.

Do you have a slot for a graphic card? You can update a intergarted Graphics chip by disabling it in the BIOS. I would check and see what type of slots you have. Usually an option for upgrading a system with intergated graphics is to use the PCI slots. Dose your motherboard support PCI? Check the manufactures website for the specifications.

I the above user posted SLI that will not work unless you have a SLI enable motherboard which I doubt since it has Intergated Graphics.

Do you have any open ports for the video card? If so is it AGP or PCI express? We need to know so we can make suggestions. Also, what is your budget?
