i think your problem is that you r not logged in as administrator ....or its a normal windows error ..you know they do come once in a while ..
try this go to command prompt and try to format it
type FORMAT:E.G.F (whatever drive letter its assigned )
and press enter
it will tell u "insert disk and press enter"
press enter again and it will start to format it

Hi!
Try this: open the drive in Explorer and then select all the files and folders on the drive and then delete them.
Also, try to see the drive's properties, and see whether it's read only, and, if so, uncheck that... try again to delete all files.
