I am having a problem with a Dell Dimension 8100. One or more of the sticks of RAM is bad. The PC uses RDRAM. How can I narrow down which stick or sticks are bad? It seems that it needs all 4 sticks to be installed to even boot, so there's no way to isolate it to just one stick.

Basically I want one computer to be the production tool that brings it all together. Where I record my mixes onto, edit my photos and video, etc. I want to use it for all my various projects. I'm used to PC but I hear MAC is the industry standard for all things media related.

I have an Acer Aspire 5630 laptop that uses an Intel 2 Dual Core 1.66 Ghz Processor that has an LGA 775 socket and uses an Acer Grapevine motherboard. I'm looking to upgrade the processor. Does anyone know where to look online for processors that would be supported? Or, even better, does anyone know which processors above the T5500 would be supported?

I added a PCI-E low profile Video card (with Goforce 8400 and 256MB) to my HP S3100n desktop system. This card supports H.264 HD video. FULLHD videos still lag, but they lag less compared to connecting the onboard video port.
Will the video get better if i change to a card with 8500chip(still 256MB)?
Can the reason be refered to the power is only 160W?
