My boyfriend bought this laptop specifically to play WoW and it works great with no hesitations. Look likes it has about the same specs. What size screen does it have? If it is a 17" then I would say yeah it's defiantely worth it! My b/f paid $825 for this laptop.

First off, I do not believe you can overclock any CPU by 50% and guarantee that it is "completely stable". At best you are asking for early failure of the CPU.

You can build this spec machine using the 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo CPU for a shade over 700 Aussie bucks new

If all the parts are new, it is a good price. If they are used, not so much. The system used should be around 500-600. Parts usually go around 30-50% less when used.

Also, because of the overclock, there would be concern as the chip can burn out faster.

the reality that it is an multi functional is the reason this computer is so costly. they should cram each and every thing right into a small compartment in the back of the computer screen. you particularly ought to do your self a want and purchase basically a typical laptop. no longer basically will or no longer it is a million/2 the fee, yet you will get a swifter CPU and a greater computer screen.

Thats a big overclock for that processor. it probably can do it, but who overclocked it? not unless you know whats going on with that it could cause problems. over all its a good deal. maybe a tad on the high side (they are trying to get you to pay more for that processor because they overclocked it). But you should be able to run World of Warcraft with no problem. But newer games that come out next years would run a little slow. not bad but not great.

Well processor and the motherboard are itself something around $350
But dont go for overclocked PCs
Whatever they may say but, think what happens if you make an expensive hampster run above his top speed for long time...tears
Dvd burner is pretty expensive. My lg is much less and it is much faster.
Microsoft Hardware products are over-rated as far as i am experienced. Got for logitech keyboard and mouse.
