Hello,
I am Sandy working in HP-Compaq as a Technical Support Specialist.
I will be much glad to assist you with your query.
Yes, AMD Turion Processor is a very good processor. For your information the processor performance depends on the environment you are staying.
If you are staying in a Costal Area, I would not suggest you to go for the AMD Processor.
Another reason why more people haven't turned to the Turion 64 is because not much is known about it. Here is the secret about this.
The Turion 64 is based on the same AMD64 architecture that powers AMD's desktop processors. In terms of performance, the Turion should perform identically to an Athlon of the same specifications.
Turion 64 chips are built from low-voltage transistors that have less electrical leakage, which is a very good aspect of the Processors.
I would suggest you to go with the AMD Turion Processor.
If you have any queries, please.
Bye
Take Care
Regards
Sandy

There's different varieties of them, and it depends on what you use your computer for, but in general I'll take an AMD processor over an equivalent Intel processor any day. They generally have more front side bus which, in my opinion, makes all the difference in the world.

AMD seems extra desirable, yet i does not get any of them in the event that they have been sixty 4 bit, a minimum of for now. various the courses now-a-days do not artwork w/ sixty 4 bit workstation/laptops or have conflicts with them. i could look ahead to slightly, or in simple terms purchase a 32 bit processor.

yes , It's a good processor. I have found that AMD in general is quicker and smoother running than Intel, comparing same basic speed, and AMD cost less.
