My computer aready have 2 hard disk ....a 40 GB maxtor and a 80 GB Hitachi hard disk ....Is that ok if i want to add one more hardisk into my computer ? I think there is still some space inside my case but i can't find any available plug or wire that are not occupied yet ....Is a computer can hold only maximum two hard disk ? Or is there any hub for the pc ? pls help ....

you can have 4 IDE devices (that's the wide flat ribbon that connects your hard drive to the motherboard ... if you only have one DVD/CD drive you can have another hard drive on that IDE channel as a slave drive ... Sata you can have as many drives as there are connections and you can buy Sata PCI cards to connect at least 2 more drives ... SCSI hard-drives you can have up to 15 drives

It is depend on the controller of the hard disks.
go to your controller datasheet and read how many disks can handle.
for a normal PC controller usually it can handle maximum 2 hard disks

A computer can have as many HDD's the motherboard can hold
like my pc has four SATA slots so i can put four HDD's in it as long as my tower has another 2 bays left.

as many as you can plug into it. you can also just get a 750Gb drive or two. also can use external drives that plug into usb port.

if you go for a SAN then there is no real limit at all
