I just dropped my laptop on the floor, (by accident, sowwi laptop lol).
http://www.microlanbh.com/Portals/Default/Laptops/Dell%206400.jpg I will describe what's hapenned according to this picture. On the left hand side, on the screen, level with the 'Dell' logo, there is a rubber 'bubble'. Under there, where the metal is joined to the plastic it has opened up. My laptop won't stay put when it's screen is tilted further than 100 degrees without the support of some paper to stop it doing so. Also there is rubbing out like material that is coming out when the opening is well opened. Is this stuff safe? Is it ok to leave the laptop as it is? And what shall I do to stop this from getting worse and how can I keep my laptop screen as I want it?
Please answer as many questions as you can using your knowledge. If what your saying is a guess, please state that. Thank you sooo much in advance.
By the way, my laptop is 2 years old.
