I can use the fax and the the copier but when I try to print the meassage Prop Bitmap DLL not loaded comes up. Aarrrgghh - it is soooo frustrating . Please help. The darned thing cost £100 .

i have phoenix motheboard with two USB ports. As i do have both mouse and keyboard of USB hub i don't have space to put my thumb drive in. So i bought new USB to PS/2 port connector for my mouse. But it doesn't work easily. I need to insert my Old mouse port in the ps/2 port and reboot the computer. After the old mouse begins to move i have to change the old mouse with new optical mouse without turning off. So in short....My mouse doesn't works while booting. As it is converted to ps/2 from USB. Do i need to configure bios. Please help me with procedure....

a macbook has a video card of intel graphics media accelerator. it is not for games but i just love the appearance of the macbook than the pro and that is why i don't wanna buy a macbook pro. can i install a nvedia gforce video card myself? can i upgrade my video card manually? need help!

I have Nero and I need to copy a restore dvd for my laptop, because the cd part isn't functioning on it and I need to restore the entire drive. I don't have a floppy drive.

My husband and I bought a new compaq presario(tower only) with xp and already has only a cd-writer in it. It does have an Expansion Bay right below the Cd-Writer so that is why I assume that means we can take our old cd-dvd player out of our old tower and put it in this new one. Our old tower was a NEC but the cd-dvd player didn't orginally come with it...the original Nec tower had a problem and and the new cd rom dvd player was installed by another computer company that we hired to try to fix the tower at that time. We still kept the old tower to see if another family member wanted it for their system but they didn't so does anyone know how I can remove it from the old tower and install it in this new tower?

I'm looking for the best overall laptop for the money between Acer As3690 (400 dollars) and the HP pavilion dv6000z (550 dollars). I am a college student and also frequently use my PC for music listening and games. I would like a notebook with crisp graphics and a fast processor. Thanks for your help. If anyone knows of a better buy in the 500-900 dollar price range let me know.

days then lost them when I used Works System Restore when I thought I had some kind of problem. Restored to a date before before installing Office. Are they gone forever? Can't used Office disk again.

I have a Toshiba Laptop and have no problem entering CS's - just insert and bam it begins downloading. My friend has a Dell and when she puts in the CD all it does is begin to play the sound track. We can't figure out how to get it to download. HELP!

My laptop battery was running out and the laptop started to hibernate, but it miraculously started up again...I'm not sure if i pushed a button or not. The battery meter even read 0% and I was able to use the laptop for another 15 minutes.

I’m a currently college student. My computer has recently died and I am in need of a new one. I basically use the computer for writing papers, going on the internet and storing my music. I’m not sure how much memory I need. I don’t really want to spend extra money for massive amounts of memory if I’m not going to use it but I don’t want to have so little that it becomes a problem. I have soundmax on my computer and it has worked fine ever since I got speakers. Now for some reason it doesn't work. The icons are there, but I have no volume control? my computer keeps telling me there are no active mixer devices and that I need to install some? Where did my sound go? It has worked since I got the speakers at xmas.....now it chooses not to work I don't get it??

I have an all in one hp photosmart 2600 printer and I have been using the regular color ink to print my photos. They turn out pretty decent, but I want to know if I use the photo ink instead will my photos turn out better. Also can you really tell the difference between the different inks?
